UKWA (PORRIDGE)❤️This is one Igbo food that is always reserved for high tables during occasions❤️I've always known ukwa to be cooked like this until I got married. My husband is among the people who like to eat their ukwa plain with just the water😩😩. Anyway, I have converted him💪. How do you like your ukwa though?❤️The stressful part of making ukwa is the washing. If you don't wash it well, you will eat sand and stones in all their glory😐. Did you see the sand in the video😳😳? That was just the first wash. Did it three more times. Ukwa takes time to cook, so use a pressure pot and add dissolved potash to quicken the cooking❤️Add dry fish and season with onions, pepper, stock cubes, salt and palm oil.
